okay, now for a quick preview for week 33.
Manchester United plays Chelsea and that should be the title decider. Chelsea will be without Lamps (sadly) but that will be a game that I will not buy into this weekend.
The tactics of the week is either to play safe, if you are leading your league. Or to play alternative if you are desperately making up for lost points.
Arsenal have Derby and that promised many managers will jump onto that match. I gotten Walcott and I recommend him. Else Adebayor is pricey or Bendtner who might get a start. Midfield wise, Fabregas will surely start cos he will. Else Giberto will play. Helb is suspended till season end. Defensive wise, Arsenal players are surpising cheap and snap them up. Gallas, Senderos and have Lehnmann while you are there.
Elsewhere, Manchester City plays Fulham. Fulham are desperate for points but Manchester City do not see too generous. Martin Petrov is a good buy and Benjani scored recently and hence he should be in contention for your starting eleven. Manchester City defenders are not the cheapest in town but are worth a look. Other than the 2, I will get Elano.
Lastly, I recommend Newcastle for the week vs West Ham. Newcastle hitting fine form. A little too late but still fantasy managers welcome such surge and can go cherry picking on players with form. From Newcastle, Micheal Owen will be the main man. Couple him with Martins. But there is Barton to have too. Crossing and passing. West Ham should not pose too much and issue for the defense and hence I will also like to be Newcastle denfense this week. Harper should not be too bad a pick together with Cacapa and friends. But I stay with Lehnmann.
The Underdogs:
- Strikers:
- Tevez: Surely crunch time player for Manchester this season, scoring against the other top 4.
- Robbie Keane and Bebartov: Against Bolton. Nothing to play for, but against a offensive minded Bolton who seek a win, the Spurs strikers might get lucky.
- Ashley Young and Carew: Real hot form. Young is the most expensive striker now. Holding on to him as I had him at 6 now.
- Midfielders:
- Ronaldo: Cos you just got to have him. I picked him up since his return from suspension and did not look back. 20 units well spend. Did you?
- Malbranque and Lennon: Again, against Bolton. Might get lucky.
- Valencia of Wigan: Against Reading and Koumas not starting, Valencia gets the bulk of crosses in. Good points expected.
- Nolan: As I always say, the main guy who can keep Bolton above. Surely he wants to finish off an awful season with a high.
- Bullard: May not have a the best fixtures against Manchester City, but he is Bullard. Easy points for him simply cos he gets to and gets the ball so often.
- Defenders:
- Woodgate: Cheap and against Bolton who I see can get a draw at most.
- Danny Colins: I cannot see Boro scoring and Danny had done well for me this season.
- Mokoena: Cheap and been useful for me. Get him if you need the units for Owen.
- GoalKeepers:
- Gordon: Against Boro. Easy points I hope
- Robinson: Hard bet, but should gather a draw with Bolton
That is all people. Till then, happy shopping.

Last weekend as kinda bad for me. Tevez and Torres played for nuts and Ronaldo was the main stand of points will Carson helping in. Hope week 31 will be better.
The week see Everton and Chelsea each playing 2 games. And Arsenal will play Manchester United. Not a nice game to watch. But all teams mentioned have everything to play for. Also, I decided to drop my Liverpool player knowing that rotation will kick in as Rafa concern is now the Champions League.
Chelsea: Wigan and Everton
2 games and Wigan will be pretty easy. Everton without Cahill. So I believe Chelsea should be a good pick this week. Anelka and Lampard together with Joe Cole. Drogba seems to be not well liked and I will prefer Kalou over him. Terry is essential as he is getting his form. Goalkeeper is an issue for Chelsea as Cech is out and Cudicini too. Hilario is the one left and he is not too inspirational at the back. But 2 games should see him giving good returns.
Everton: Birmingham and Chelsea
2 games rule again. Birmingham is not a stroll in the park as they have a relegation to avold. Everton on the other hand is chasing for the fourth spot. A all out game for both parties. Everton have Yabuku and Johnson. Arteta and Carsley. Yobo, Baines and Lescott are again good pick together with the pricey Howard. Stay away from the cheap mid of Everton. They are not confirmed to be starting.
Looking away, I fancy Villa away to Derby and Spurs home to Boro.
Villa: Load up their players. Their final stretch of games are the easiest from what I see and they might have an outside chance of catching that fifth spot. Young, Carew, Agbonlahor are essential buys. I like Young stats so far, being the best crossers among the strikers. The midfield have the expensive Barry who I guess is not a time to buy him. Else Knight and gang are good buy as defenders. Carson is the goal keeper to get for the week if you are buying a new guy.
Spurs: Against Boro. Boro might pull off the ability to frustrate as per last week against Manchester United. But Spurs is at home and I do see their offensive beating Boro. Boro, on the other hand, have inconsistent strikers to say the least. Hence Spurs get my vote. Berbetov and Keane. Lennon and Malbranque.
What I am afriad is that Spurs might not have anything to play for and may field a second fiddle squad. Boro is playing for dear life as they are too close to the relegation zone.
The underdogs:
- Strikers:
- Owen, Viduka, Martins: one goal each last week. Pompey may not be push over and James is surely not leaking that much. But we cannot discount the form of Newcastle strike force at the moment.
- Crouch: I expect him to start in place of Torres as Rafa rest his key striker. Pretty well priced to move.
- Rooney: High pressure game against Arsenal and the former Everton player should enjoy the tension.
- Midfielders:
- Kevin Nolan: Relegation dog fight and he should lead a good home game against West Ham. Time for him to score too. Nice price.
- James Harper, John Oster of Reading: Not very attractive players, but are well priced and their play should see some points especially Oster.
- Ronaldo: Have to mention him. The man on form and he surely enjoy scoring one against Arsenal to prove his critics wrong that he lacks big match composure.
- Defenders:
- Richard Dunne and gang: Cannot see Sunderland scoring past Manchester City.
- Goal Keeper:
- Joe Hart: As per Dunne.
That is all people. Have a good weekend and happy shopping.

Some updates before the weekend games starts:
King of Spurs to miss rest of season:
Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed captain Ledley King will not feature in the final six matches of the Premier League season as he continues recovery from a knee injury.
The England defender has managed only 10 appearances, including the Carling Cup final victory over Chelsea at Wembley. King, 27, will now spend the remainder of the campaign ensuring he is on track with his rehabilitation process.
Seems that Woodgate is alone now, with Robinson behind him. Spurs does look shaky again.
Also, Diouf seems to be showing some issues at Bolton:
The controversial striker - whose recent performances have prompted his own team-mates to question his commitment - was quoted in the Senegalese press this week saying he will leave the club even if they survive relegation.
It was the latest show of player dissent following Abdoulaye Meite’s refusal to play the second half of the recent defeat at Manchester United and Ivan Campo’s petulant storm down the tunnel after being substituted against Manchester City.
And yet Megson - who takes his side to Aston Villa tomorrow - insisted: ‘I spoke to Dioufy on Thursday and it’s no big deal.
Megson says it is no big deal? Surely Diouf is the only firepower Bolton have and he is not playing well. Ivan Campo their second best clutch time player. Something is going wrong down at the Reebok. Guess Nolan is the only good bet there now.
And Villa this weekend looks to be a good bet again and I think Carson will do just fine.

This week, we will see Arsenal going against Liverpool, and good luck for those holding on to Torres, Adebayor or Gerrard and Fabregas.
Elsewhere, and on Sunday, Manchester United travels to Riverside while Everton plays Derby at Goodison. Newcastle will play Reading on Saturday and Fulham to play Sunderland.
The must haves:
Everton: Playing Derby. Surely a great way to bounce back from that 1-0 lost to Liverpool last week. Yabuku, Arteta and Tim Howard are essential if you can afford. Else have Piennar, Carsley and pick from their defense of Yobo, Lescott and Neville. Cahill is out for the season. Note that Everton play 2 games next week. Hence a extra bonus to have them this week. I for once had changed my team around just to get Yabuku.
Manchester United: Plays Boro away. Sorry to Downing and gang but Manchester will be looking to get 3 points and extend their lead. Ronaldo is a sure get. Tevez and Rooney are pricey and if you not have them before this game, this is not the week to shop for them. Go Yakubu if you have the cash. Their defense of Rio and Vidic should hold up for a easy clean sheet.
Newcastle plays Reading: This is hard to call but Newcastle had a good game last week and I have this feeling that they will be on a roll. Defensively I fear for them and I cannot see how Steve Harper and team and keep a clean sheet. Maybe a slight chance against a luckless Reading. Newcastle offense have a lot of promise. Owen, Viduka and Martins. Take a pick. But midfield contains the talent of Barton who seems to tone down a lot this few weeks. A good alternative in a time of the season where strikers are pricey.
Lastly, Fulham plays Sunderland.
Fulham was disappointing last weekend with 2-2 draw with Derby. Hence the choice this week is to hit their attack, and none of their defense. Sorry Keller. McBride is in line to score and Danny Murphy and Bullard are well priced buys.
The Underdogs:
- Strikers:
- Torres: Hard to recommend him while Liverpool plays Arsenal. But hold if you still have him from past weeks.
- Carew, Young: The 2 frontmen at Villa should be looking to get some pride since the lost to Manchester United. And visiting Bolton do not look too difficult.
- Defoe: Hot and on form and travelling to West Ham. I believe he can continue this form. Slightly pricey.
- Midfielders:
- Mendes, Utaka: The 2 creative players are essential to provide Defoe with the necessary supplies.
- Bentley: Not easy opponent in Spurs, but the former gunner can get easy points from corners and crosses.
- Dean Whitehead: Maybe a time to shine against Fulham.
- Defenders:
- Terry: Not a easy match against Manchester City. But Terry should have another good day at the office.
- Else, there are not much defenders to pick from.
- Goal Keeper:
- Carson: Cheap and decent game against Bolton.
- Kirkland: Again, cheap, but a slightly more risky game against Birmingham
That is all folks. Till them, happy shopping.

Week 28 had been low key for me so far. But I am thinking of dropping players for the next week.
Boro filled 3 players this week and with them playing Chelsea next week, surely I going to change, change and change. The best contender, following who play Derby, is Fulham. And they does have cheap striker, midfielder and defender to pick from.
McBride, Danny Murphy, and even former Leeds player Eddie Johnson. Surely I am dropping Sanli, O’Neil and Schwarzer.
Filling the goalkeeper slot will be harder. As cheap Keepers with easy fixtures are not easy to find. And Niemi’s status is unknown.
Looking away from Fulham, I do like Portsmouth chances against visiting Wigan. Newcastle at home to Reading should see some advantage to the home side also.

The weekend’s action is underway. Surely the Saturday should be easy for most managers as the big four are playing on Sunday.
Spurs had won at home 2-0 beating Portsmouth.
For the other on going games, the home team seems to be have an advantage with Boro, Newcastle, Reading and Blackburn all holding a one goal lead. Sanli and Santa Cruz scored as recommended and that is sweet. I only have Sanli on my team and so far it is a goal into the week’s account. I shall not jinx it by saying anything else.
For the rest of Yahoo Fantasy Managers, good luck. Half time now.

It seems that it is a rather popular tactic to effectively play 10 players than 11 in Yahoo Fantasy football.
If managers can get him cheap, we can have Mokoena at around 1.2 units. And by holding on to him, we effectively can buy the other 10 players with around 98 units. Other players who fall into this category is Senderos.
It does make sense when an average defender cost around 5 to 7 units. Effectively we can spend the extra units, around 4+ on a premium midfielder or striker who more often than not comes on the form of Ronaldo, Gerrard or Torres and Adebayor,
A cheap defender who does no harm. That only works in Yahoo Fantasy Football.
Just to share a trick or two.
Okay, after the double gamer madness, we are going into a super Sunday. No easy games and this preview could be a little short.
For the good teams to have, Boro and Villa gets my pick as they play Derby and Sunderland. Reading is the outsider this week. For the big four, ugly games await and it all boils down to who dare to hold down their Ronaldos and Lamps.
For Boro vs Derby, the picks are simple. Mido is suspended and Tuncay is cheap and is the only senior striker they can start. Downing comes at a premium and cheaper option can be seen in O’Neil and Cattermole. Jeremie Aliadiere is very cheap and he should comes together with Wheater who is surely a gem in Southgate’s team.
Robert Huth and Emanuel Pogatetz are injuries doubts for Boro.
Schwarzer is my keeper for the week. Cheap and going for a CS.
Villa vs Sunderland.
Not to smack hard on Sunderland, but Villa have more strength in most areas compared to the Black Cats. Carew and Young should continue play well and get high fantasy points. Carew seems poised to grab another hat trick. He seems to do so when the big four are playing each other.
Defender Olof Mellberg is ruled out of the clash as he serves a one-match suspension following his sending-off against Portsmouth last weekend. Craig Gardner will step in after being declared fit for the game. Carson is slightly pricey but is a good choice as a keeper. Barry is the start player to watch as Villa seek to regain some form to challenge for Europe.
Reading vs Birmingham
This is a hard call, but seek out Reading attack. Their cost had come down slightly after been unproductive for the past few games. Personally Reading offer some options to park your units should you seek to reduce your risk for Super Sunday. Jame Harper, Stephen Hunt and Oster are pretty decent midfielder picks. Stay away from Reading defense. Doyle is in line to score a two.
The underdogs:
- Strikers:
- Anelka: Playing against Wenger. I just love Anelka when he play against Arsenal. Not that I can afford him this week.
- Walcott: Cheap and he could be unleashed onto Chelsea who leaked 4 goals to Spurs. Cech is doubtful for Chelsea
- Santa Cruz: Against Wigan. Wigan is winning again but Blackburn seems more desperate now if they are to seek their Europe glory next season. Santa Cruz scored a hattrick last time round against Wigan. Pretty well priced also.
- Nery Castillo: A cheap striker in a good team. Hard to find end-season. Could be a surpise package this week.
- Midfielder:
- Ronaldo: Hard to miss this guy. Could be given the captain armband again and watch out Liverpool. Had a monsterous 63 points last weekend.
- Jimmy Bullard: I do like this guy and Fulham will need a lot more from him to fight off relegation.
- Elano: Yet to hear from him in some time. Like Nery Castillo, this could be his week.
- Defender:
- Yobo, Lescott: Trick to pick defenders this week but I bet my units if I am buying on Everton defenders.
- Woodgate: I have him and have to recommend him.
- Goalkeeper:
- Go Schwarzer. Think of no one else. Of course there is the pricey Howard.
Till the weekend, happy shopping.
Manchester United are now tied at the top of the table with Arsenal with a game in hand and above in goal differences.
The week saw the return of Robin Van Persie and Toure. That should give Arsenal the booast they needed. But it is still a little too late for the Gunners to make up for that lack of form over the pass few weeks? Manchester Unitd mid-week game against Bolton should decide the tempo of next week Super Sunday.

Else where, at the bottom of the table, Reading, Newcastle, Sunderland, Birmingham, Bolton and Fulham are fighting it out not to be the last 3. Derby is virtually dropping down one league next season. It will be interesting to see how those team with one game in hand handle the pressure.

Week 27 is yet to be over for Yahoo fantays football managers but it is never too early to take a look into the coming week to see what are the fixtures.
Chelsea will play Arsenal at Stamford Bridge and Manchester United will play Liverpool at Old Trafford.
That should be interesting to see how managers handle Torres and Gerrard. Yahoo Fantasy Managers should have a couple of Chelsea and Manchester United players and should continue to hold them for week 28.
Arsenal should see the return of RvP to the starting lineup and it will be very interesting to see if the Dutchman can bring a stop to Arsenal current form slump.
Else easier and cheaper options can be found at Villa, Boro and Blackburn which play sunderland, Wigan and Derby respectively.

Terry scored in the 10th for Chelsea. Sweet and most managers are pretty happy about that.
BUt Anelka is not even featured and that should screw some (plenty) of managers up. Cudicini is in between th goal. So I am pretty safe for this game.
Manchester United rest Tevez and that is a huge ouch for plenty of managers also. Rio Ferdinand is rested but Park started alongside Rooney. Ronaldo is playing and starting. At least that is some comfort for me.
Looks like it is going to be a disappointing week for some managers with Anelka and Tevez playing only a game.
At the time of writing, Liverpool is down 0-1 to Reading with a goal from Marek Matejovsky.

Week 27 is all about Man Utd and Chelsea.
Man Utd plays Derby and Bolton while Chelsea have Sunderland and Spurs. Seems like Manchester United is the team to have. In addition, Spurs plays Man City and Chelsea while Bolton plays Wigan and Manchester United. For the other 2 gamers that is.
Manchester United:
Simply picks. Tevez and Ronaldo are back in my team. I know of managers whol held on to these two despite Manchester United not playing last week. Rooney should start and Nani is also a wise pick. Rio and Vidic should continue in defense with the rather ineffective Wes Bown on the side.
Park is a cheap option together with O’Shea and these 2 should see some mintues with O’Shea more likely to pick up 2 clean sheet. In goal, Foster should start with EVds injuried and Kusczcsak suspended. Hope I gotten his name right. Get the other red devils if you feel like. They are in for a big week.
Chelsea:
6-1 winners and they are back with a bang. Lamps is the one to get. Expensive yes. Else Joe Cole is still barely afforable and Ballack is a good buy also. Up front, Anelka should start beside either
